For the Trade · Since 1987 · Quakertown, PA

The trade desk for designers, liquidators, and dealers who can't afford a wrong piece.

Same appraisers, same gemologists, same restoration workshop — opened up to the people who source for a living.

An editor's note

A working partnership, not a discount code.

The Trade desk isn't a separate website with bulk pricing bolted on. It's the same catalog, the same 14-person staff, and the same bench of three certified appraisers and our GIA-trained gemologist — only the phones get answered faster and the holds stay on the manifest longer. When you call Snyder's as a trade client, you're routed to the specialists who pull for film sets, furnish model homes, and stock the floor at regional estate sales week in and week out.

We hold inventory for up to fourteen days while your project firms up, we batch shipments to your stage or storefront, and every jewelry piece we send out carries the same gemological documentation our retail buyers receive. If you need something we don't have on the floor, we pick it up at auction and run it through our restoration workshop before it lands on your invoice. That's what thirty-eight years of family buying gets you: not a coupon, a back office.

Who we work with

Four kinds of trade buyers. One catalog built for all of them.

If you source vintage for a living, the workflow is recognizable — a brief from a director, an empty storefront, an estate executor on a deadline. We staff to those briefs.

Estate-Sale Liquidators

Forty-plus regional estate companies keep Snyder's on speed dial for the gaps that always show up three days before a sale opens — replacement lots, anchor pieces, the one item a buyer asked about that you didn't have.

  • 48-hour fill-in sourcing
  • Lot pricing consistent with regional comps
  • Bulk pulls by category, era, or style
  • Drop-ship directly to your sale site

  • Unbranded pack slips on request

What a trade account actually means

Four operational advantages. No mystery about the fine print.

The trade program is built around the workflow problems that waste a working buyer's day. Here's exactly what you get when your application is approved.

  • A dedicated trade contact

One phone number, one email, one person who knows your project. The trade desk routes calls ahead of the public line and keeps a running file on your taste, your typical budget, and the briefs you've already pulled for.

  • White-glove freight over $500

Any furniture piece over $500 ships blanket-wrapped, two-man delivered, and placed in the room of your choice. We've delivered to sound stages, model homes, and estate-sale tents in 48 states without a single damage claim in the last 24 months.

  • GIA-trained gemologist on every jewelry piece

Our staff gemologist examines and certifies every stone over one carat before it leaves the floor. Trade clients receive the same gemological certificate our retail buyers do — useful for resale listings, insurance riders, and prop authenticity paperwork.

  • Bulk pulls, hold sourcing, and auction buys on request

Need twenty mid-century bar carts by Friday? A specific hold for a prop you've been hunting for two years? We pull from the floor, the warehouse, and our standing relationships with regional auction houses to source what isn't on the open shelf.
